Ichika sighed as she stepped back, looking over the kitchen counter. Rice? Check. Shrimp? Check. Pan? Check. She quickly took a moment to pray to Hatsune Miku to make sure she wouldn’t accidentally burn down the apartment while her parents were away.
It was winter, so naturally, people got sick. Somehow, Saki, Honami, and Shiho had all gotten sick in the same week, and they all seemed bummed out about it.
So, why not cheer them up with a home cooked meal?
The guitarist was very aware of her cooking abilities. Her… horrible, horrible cooking abilities. However, it seemed easy to make shrimp-fried rice. How hard could it be?

It suited Ichika, dying in such a heroic way. The other girl had given the princess a smile and stupidly, heroically threw herself into danger- stabbing a massive dragon right in the heart, then proceeding to fall multiple stories to her stupid heroic death right after. Saki remembered the sickening thud she swore was louder than the dragon's fall.
Saki still woke up and expected to find Ichika by the door, but it wasn't her.
Instead, it was Hinomori Shiho.
Ichika's... replacement.

Working at a haunted house was surprisingly interesting.
Since being a bassist didn’t work out, Shiho had looked for other jobs. She ended up working at a haunted house at Phoenix Wonderland as a zombie.It was actually kind of entertaining, seeing the different reactions of different people. Some wouldn’t react. Some would scream and run.
Though, three of her encounters had stood out.
OR: Shiho witnesses a person forget that walls exist, gets punched in the face by another, and gets trauma-dumped to by a third one all in one work day. (And these people look kind of familiar...?)

Her words reminded Shiho of how worried she was the first time they pushed her away. They opened and closed their mouth for a moment, trying to find the right words, before settling on a simple, "I'm fine. Just tired."
