Drunk confusion paints Seokjin’s face, “But you’re not dating anyone?”

Summary
This was a bad idea. Jimin was supposed to be laying low, and if his company found out he was seeing someone, even if it was just platonically, he’d never hear the end of it. It didn’t matter what the story was if someone saw them together. The internet was cruel.
But he was lonely. Oh, Jimin was so lonely. And maybe he was a little weak. He’d been able to put on a brave face when Taehyung teased him, but now here in the moment, he wasn’t sure he could resist. He hadn’t made a genuine connection with another person in years. And Namjoon was right in front of him, brilliant and kind and so much like the boy he’d once loved.
“I don’t… I don’t know,” said Jimin.
The look that passed over Namjoon’s face was so heartbreaking that Jimin immediately backpedaled.
“Give me your number. I can… I can help out with the Christmas pageant? I have the time,” said Jimin.
~*~
After a scandal, Jimin is forced on a hiatus and goes home for Christmas for the first time in ten years. It isn’t until he’s home that he realizes what he’s been missing out on for all those years.
