Summary
When Lily tells James she doesn't really want to have kids and ever only went through with pregnancy because Mrs.potter pressured her to she expected him to be on her side. When James expresses his want to keep the child she Grant's it with only their marriage as the fee. After she gives birth to a boy she signed away all her parental rights and said her goodbyes and moves to France.
Despite his want for the child James turns out to be a shit father. Through getting laid and working as an Auror he soon begins to neglect his child. With Harry crying all night and James out partying the new attendant of the loft above his is woken in the dead of night.
With Severus back in England -after moving to Spain his 5th year- he expects a quiet place to finish another book for his publisher. What he gets is taking care of Potter's kid and Potter's apparent interest.
No-noncon & expect grammar mistake galore! Also, I do not like CPS at all and Harry's going to get all the love in affection from Severus (who also hates CPS) I get this comment a lot for those wondering! :)

James hummed in response finger sneaking up to press against the base of Severus's neck “here?” pushing down in soft circles. Snape found himself lulled by it, eyes drifting lower as the ministrations continued. “M’sorry”
Severus sighed, “it's not your fault, just the way I sleep really,” he continued lifting his neck from under the other's fingers shifting his own hand up to seek the same comfort.
“Still” James whispered back, eyes lingering on the side of his head before turning back to the front himself.
Note: Severus does believe he's dreaming(while in the lure) but James doesn't allow anything while he's in this state. THIS MAY BE OUT OF CHARACTER I wanted to try it and I don't think I like it very much so this is for the people who might enjoy it. Also yes, I wrote this knowing I have stories to update.
