Summary
Buck was used to being unwanted.
He didn't fit in at any of the group homes, and he definitely didn't fit in with any of his failed family placements.
But Bobby was different, and if he had to follow him halfway across the country just to hear someone say his name without contempt--Well, it wouldn't be that bad of a trip. And he'd probably be shipped right back to a new group home, but....what if?OR, the pre-canon re-write where Buck was abandoned as a toddler, and finds his way home to Bobby and the 118 anyway.

Summary
"It's a nice night out, tonight. The sky is mostly clear, and where they're walking down by the river, there aren't a ton of lights to block out the stars. They'd grabbed some ice cream on their way in from a small stand across from the parking, Iris was watching the boys for the night, and Ignis couldn't have been more content walking side by side with his partner.
“How would you feel about getting married?” Gladio asked casually, in between bites of ice cream."Series

Noctis Caelum-Amicitia is eleven years old and so, so tired. If his adopted family wouldn't let him withdraw into a shell of himself, he might as well be the biggest pain in the ass they've ever known.
