Summary
When Lucy falls in love with a little girl named Fiona that she meets on a call, she wants to foster her, but it would be difficult to get approved as a foster parent as a single woman, so she asks Tim to marry her on paper despite the tension between them after sharing a kiss “for work”. Tim agrees for Fiona’s sake, but their marriage of convenience quickly gives way to more.

Summary
She was supposed to file a report, not bring home a four-year-old. But when a scared little girl needs somewhere safe to land, Lucy Chen does what she’s always done—leads with her heart. With Sergeant Tim Bradford quietly stepping in to help, the two of them fall into a rhythm neither expected—grocery runs, bubble baths, pancakes, and paperwork. But beneath the surface, both of them are facing something deeper: Lucy’s fear of failing a child who finally feels safe, and Tim’s growing awareness of just how much he cares about the woman who always leads with her heart.
AU with a four-year-old Tamara Collins. Set around season 4/5.

Summary
"We may have our roots but we've been
Shaped by those we choose to let in
Like the branches of a tree
We may grow in different directions
But our roots will always keep us close
Like a family tree"
- Family tree by Matthew WestDespite what he claimed, there was no way Tim Bradford didn’t like or, at least, didn’t care about her.
