Putting down the box of tools, Kim Soleum pried open the hood of his car, starting his repairs on it. He bent over the engine, a wrench in hand as he did… something to his car.

The phantom pain of a bite on the back of his neck, of the imprint of teeth in skin but every time Lin Ling goes to touch the skin there, his collar remains, the skin there unblemished and unmarked.
Nice knows he and Lin Ling are meant to be. It doesn't matter that Yang Cheng loves Lin Ling too, or that Nice is already dead.
That changes nothing.
