“Hey, bud.” Robert straightened in his seat. He forced himself to smile in order to hide his grimace of pain at the movement. “I'm all good. Just one of those days, y’know?”
Phenomaman stared blankly.
“I do not know.”
Ah.
Right.
“It means that I’m fine. I appreciate the concern, I do, but I should really get back to work now–” Robert started to swivel back toward his monitor, but he didn’t get far. Phenomaman’s hands clamped down on the armrests, locking him in place.
The metal warped slightly under his firm hold.
Phenomaman brought his face right next to the side of Robert’s cheek and inhaled deeply. He frowned, his brow creasing.
“You are injured, Robert. Are you in need of medical aid?”
Robert fucking hates his period. Luckily, SDN's Greatest Hero is there to help soothe his pain!

Summary
Stone was in a very good mood today.
He was being even more doting and attentive to the doctor than usual, which was saying something. There was a spring in his step that had him bouncing around the kitchen with a confident ease, and a slight wiggle to his hips that caused his apron strings to flutter in front of his rear in a way that had Robotnik white knuckling his fork.
The doctor tore his eyes away from his assistant’s enticing form and stabbed at a piece of his pancake’s bacon-stache. Perfectly crispy, as always.
