Since kids Will and Mike have always had a different bond from their other friends, yes they all had a good relationship with each other but the two did not treat their friends like how they treated each other. Since their teen years Mike has always been possessive over Will—overprotective even. He’d often get jealous when others would get too close to him or even growl whenever someone’s scent would linger too long onto Will and bathe him in Mike’s scent. The others would often call Mike out despite him being pack Alpha but Will would enable Mike's behavior , the pack would call them out on their dynamic but Mike would ignore it .They were the hierarchy Pack Alpha and Omega , it didn’t help that Mike’s jealousy and possessiveness got worse when the two made it official. It was bad to the point Lucas and Dustin weren’t allowed to be near Will or alone with him for an entire month until Will had enough and Mike faintly agreed to let him around their friends.
