Summary
Shane is a recently retired NHL hockey player who suffered a career ending injury. He moves into the supposedly isolated cabin he just finished building on Lake Blackthorn to work on figuring out his new life path, only to discover the abandoned cottage across the water isn’t as abandoned as his relator told him.
In fact, it’s inhabited by a 6’3’’ blond Russian who seemingly walked straight out of his not so straight dreams.
Ilya is a witch who just moved into an inherited family cottage and spends all his time in his greenhouse growing exotic plants. He doesn’t have time for romance and he definitely doesn’t have any time for his uptight and horrendously boring new neighbor.
And there is no way, no possible way, he is sort of, kinda, maybe falling in love with him. Absolutely not.
