Summary
Ian 'Ferris' Cloud, was a well-known criminal in the police department. He would go around destroying buildings and one day the police couldn't take it anymore and decided to call in the professionals.
Ian was beaten and dragged back to S.P.A.R's base where he meets all kind of troubles and questionable elders. It was a new, pleasant experience if it wasn't for the timer ticking above his head.
His brother, Oliver Cloud, who he thought he had killed was alive and was on an active hunt for Ian. It was only after being captured that Ian realized that his future was in trouble because of the past.

“You ever think,” Jabber says between bites, “how chemicals make everythin’ happen?”
“…No?” Zanka grunts. “What’re ya on about now.”
“Nah, listen.” Jabber leans in, voice low and conspiratorial. “Poisons, synthetics, the natural stuff—love ‘em all. But our bodies? They’re chemical factories. Adrenaline in a fight, that dump of shit you get when you’re ’bout to die. Oxytocin when you’re gettin’—”
Zanka slams her knee on the underside of the table. “Jabber.”
“—fucked,” Jabber finishes sweetly.
Zanka inhales through her nose so sharply her teeth ache. Her nails dig into her palms until she feels half moon indents. She doesn’t know if she’s angry, embarrassed, or aroused. Probably yes to all three.
Whatever imaginary multiple choice test she’s taking, she’s failing it.

The gentleness in Niragi’s tone unlocks something inside him and he feels like crying, only holding back a sob with the upmost effort. It’s always one or the other extreme with him, once he’s in this certain state of mind. Sometimes he craves the support and closeness his boyfriend offers, other times he can’t stand even the smallest of touches. Niragi has learnt how to read the signs and how to approach without smothering him.
It’s fairly rare for Chishiya to feel overwhelmed by his emotions, to let them overwhelm him, but when it happens every once in a while, he feels like breaking.
He’d rather break in Niragi’s arms tonight than alone on his side of the bed.

Chishiya is exhausted and stressed from work at the hospital and his approaching final exams. Niragi is there to comfort him.

Although Roman keeps reassuring Seth that nothing will change, the pup soon finds himself entertaining the realisation that he may have just been replaced.
