Summary
An unknown virus is spreading through the kingdom, looking people in the eyes can cause a psychotic break - causing its victims to go on rampages before ultimately perishing. To avoid the illness, you must avoid looking at people. Mirrors, photos, and most importantly in person. When it finally comes to the capital, Ben and Adam are unable to use the welding style glasses that Fairy Godmother hands out, so Ben takes matters into his own hands.

Summary
Set a few years after the barrier is opened, Ben has rumors circulating around the kingdom that he's dating Harry Hook due to their close friendship. King Adam does not appreciate the rumors, nor do the older monarchs of the council, Ferdinand and Phillip. The status quo must, after all, be kept for royals. Adam goes and tries to push Ben into going on dates with eligible princesses when Ben blurts out that he is in fact dating Harry. Harry jokingly demands Ben make his cooperation worth his wile once Adam leaves, so Ben gives him his birthday gift months early - a business related trip to Neverland - and Harry kisses him for it. The news does not go over well with the older monarchs. For nearly two years, Ben and Harry must deal with the smear campaign against Harry, until the Prince Phillip strikes Ben where it hurts on the day of his coronation; Ben's done playing nice though and it's hard to run from a raging beast.

Summary
Ben and Mal have a mutual break up, but Mal discovers as she watches Harry essentially take her place - despite him simply doing his job as Ben's advisor - that she's jealous and angry. She decides to curse Harry into losing what he holds most precious. Expecting his hook or special dagger to disappear, she's horrified to learn what's actually being lost.

When the villain kids were younger, Mal thought it would be amusing to have her mom give her friends their soulmarks. It was an easy spell to reveal the marks. Mal got Evie but the rest of them, their marks were in Auradon, or they just somehow never met them on the Isle. If they were in Auradon, they'd never meet them. It was the perfectly cruel gift and Maleficent was cackling with joy at how evil her child was. Harry stared at his mark, the person it was meant for clear as day as the domed rose on his wrist.
