Angel insists on walking Buffy back from the frat house. They’ve only made it a few blocks when she falters abruptly, swaying and clutching at him for balance.
“Angel?” she says, plaintive and breathy. “I don’t feel right. My head’s all fuzzy.”
“Buffy!” He stops short, reaching out to steady her. Her skin is hot, flushed, and there’s something about her scent that sets faint alarm bells ringing in his head.
