    Summary

‘It’s not really infinity if I stop at twenty kilometres is it?’ she’d said to him once. ‘I want to see how far I can reach. If I can actually go up to infinity someday.’
There was the soft sound of feet landing on slate tiles and the gentle patter of footsteps that followed. “Shouta!” her voice called out, hopeful and happy. Aizawa turned around, smiling at her as she waved at him from the other end of the roof.
And so, Aizawa Shouta, aka Eraserhead, discovered that an unpleasant argument followed by three years of no talk did not necessarily make things awkward- as long as it was with the right person.

    Summary

Kaveh was an architect, blessed by the sun and the clear divine springs that flowed through Sumeru's land. He was golden, and beautiful, with deep crimson eyes and an almost musical timbre to his voice.

Alhaitham was simply a researcher, having entered the depths of the forests in search of a temple ruin.

A chance encounter - and their fates are tied by a myth older than time itself.

    Summary

Truth was, Alhaitham would go along with anything that Kaveh asked of him. He’d let himself be drawn in by the vagaries of the architect for so long after all. He was simply a man vying for the bird on his windowsill and for the longest time, he couldn’t figure out why.

So he’d selfishly left it all for Kaveh to figure out, piece together and return back to him. Because brilliant, kind and emphatic Kaveh always had a heart to spare. And when it came to Alhaitham, somehow, Kaveh always knew. Kaveh always understood.

That was what he believed anyway.

    Summary

When Alhaitham and Kaveh's daily domestic routine breaks apart after the Scribe's sudden promotion to Acting Grand Sage, they both begin to slowly realise exactly how much those simple small moments meant to them.

But luckily for them-despite all their fights and arguments-it only takes a few little acts of service, and silent forgiveness shared in the familiar warmth of their home.

(aka in which Kaveh has enough emotional awareness for the two of them combined so he has all the rights to call Alhaitham an idiot several times)
