    You knew it wasn’t safe to walk down the side alley, but you also knew it would cut a good ten minutes off your travel time and it was getting very late. You couldn’t help but look behind you as you walked, swearing you had seen something out of the corner of your eye. Suddenly you ran into something solid, which you quickly realized was a person. “Sorry! I didn’t see-” You stopped, getting a good, long look at him.

    He was wearing a long black coat with a deep red turtleneck that had him nearly blend into the shadows. His sunglasses were particularly off-putting as it was the dead of night, yet you couldn’t deny he was handsome. He softly grinned. “Don’t be sorry.” He stepped closer, which had you back up a step in response. He softly rumbled his next words, sending a shiver through you. “Well, aren’t you a lovely sight.”
