    Summary

“But I’m just a clerk!” Evie cried. “I’m nothing, a nobody.”

“And Andraste was an Alamarri tribeswoman captured and enslaved by the Tevinter Imperium. Nobody is a nobody in the eyes of the Maker,” Leliana countered.

Solas carefully crafted his plan over millennia whilst he floated in uthenera, but no plan survives first contact with the enemy. And falling for a human was never part of the plan. Every day his companions refuse to remain faceless abstracts, they are loud, they are bright, they are real, Evelyn of Crestwood more so than any of them.

    Summary

He was used to it—jaded, perhaps, would be the best term. The young, fresh, doe-eyed students who followed his every move as if the secrets of the Fade could be found within the simplest gesture. He suppressed the sigh of irritation—it hardly would do any good to become upset, as there wasn’t anything he could do to alter their fascinations. He simply would endure and discourage and ignore their awkward advances as always until the interest dimmed and they moved on. After all, it was only a passing fancy…

She couldn’t help herself. No, really, she could not stop herself from blurting out the wrong words, saying exactly what popped into her mind, no filter whatsoever. And there he stood, tall, lean, silver hair swooping into that captivating widow’s peak—and she opened her mouth to practically swallow her foot. Sure, he was Human, not her usual type, but he had the build of an Elf! A really tall Elf. She knew it was just infatuation, she was lonely, he showed no signs of interest, and the feeling would pass. After all, it was only a silly little crush…

    Summary

There so much I love about the Veilguard, and so many places where more could have been done.
This is a retelling of the best (to me) quests and areas to explore Grey Warden Rook's past, and the developing deep feels we all know happen between her and Emmrich. (he's the best romance option in the game and I'll die on that hill)
There will be more in-depth dialogue with existing dialogue as I navigate my playthrough my way. Lots of fight scenes, more complex relationships between the team, longing, slow burn, sweet romantic stuff we all wanted and never got! Also! There will be steamy chapters but they'll be separated into an Explicit rating so we can keep the main story under the M rating.
Oh! Also, there may be a few songs sprinkled in, but not too many since we all know Emmrich doesn't like a story with too many songs :D

    Summary

We're following the Veilguard to the wetlands. It's muddy. And wet. Rook is on an adventure, Davrin is cold, and Emmrich takes a fateful tumble.

If you're looking for Emmrich/Rook, slow-burn, angst, hurt/comfort and/or soft feelings and friendships -- well, look no further!
