Summary
Wolfwood suddenly awoke to complete nothingness. He couldn’t see anything, it was just soul crushing darkness. Darkness, intense pressure on his whole body, and no air. Survival instincts took over before he even had time to panic. He dug through the unforgiving blackness above him, ignoring his body’s cries of pain. He couldn’t give up, he had to escape, this is what he thought to himself as the faces of all those he wanted to see flashed before his eyes. ‘Milly and Meryl,’ he thought as his nails began to bleed. ‘Miss Melanie and the kids,’ he thought as his fingers felt like they were going to break. ‘Livio,’ he thought as tears streamed down his eyes both from the intense pain in his arms and the emotional distress at the thought of failure. Ironically, right as the most important face came to mind- a certain blonde idiot whose smile was as bright as the double suns- he could finally see them again.
