Summary
Ages ago, Mother Sky and Father Night settled on a game for the fate of their world. Her power lingers in the Regents, randomly chosen by her whims and subject to being changed out at any time. Via the magic of Tarot cards known as The Regents' Deck, the face of each new Regent appears when the power changes hands...so Father Night's proxy can find them. Tempt them. Corrupt them. Someday, a Regent will have to make a choice, legend goes...and their choice will save or damn the world.
Most say it'll be the Robin, always the youngest, whom the fate of the world will rest upon. But few know Robins always age into another Regent elsewhere in the Deck. And once a Robin, always a Robin.
Currently, there are four.
Dick Grayson wielded the Robin with ease, but now struggles to keep the Owl from wielding him.
Jason Todd died the Robin and came back the Crow.
Tim Drake was nowhere near ready to stop being the Robin, and finds the powers of the Rook a poor substitute.
And Damian Wayne might be the most unlikely Robin of them all.
When the choice could fall to any of them, it falls to one man to make sure they're all prepared to make it. The Great Heretic.

Summary
Collection of drabbles, headcanons, and fic-ish type things that have piled up on my tumblr over the years, gathering dust, for I am the Actual Worst at Tagging. Apparently when people find and enjoy some of these, they have no real way to find others like them so.....here they are.
Randomly updated when I get time to search through my own archives and find more. Mostly a weird blend of headcanons, AUs or other Batfamily related thoughts that halfway through the posts turn into actual fic because my brain goes Here Have Some Dialogue and I'm like okay but I'm still not gonna make this a fic, Brain. And I am a person of principle! (And laziness). So they remain mutant hybrids of fic and not!fic.
Updates will be labeled with the universe each is set in. Mostly gen (I think) but ships will be tagged when they appear. Just FYI, I don't ship any of the Batbrothers. Also, all Batkids - much like their father - are extremely bisexual. Not to imply varying degrees of bisexuality among them, more just the intensity with which they are all very much Not Straight.
Other DC characters to appear randomly, especially Donna Troy and Kyle Rayner. No real reason, they just make even good things even better.

Summary
Dick Grayson was born a circus brat, made an orphan, raised a hero, but he's never considered himself a victim. Confronted with the aftermath of something he thought he'd put behind him almost a year ago, he's forced to accept that even a son of the Batman needs to be saved sometimes. (Set five years after Season One, but it goes AU before Season 2.)
