This is when Cas slumps, and Dean's back screams as he tries to keep his boyfriend from collapsing entirely.
Sam is there in an instant, big and strong and capable. Together, they lift Cas into a chair, where he curls in on himself, and his shoulders begin to shake.
Is he crying?
"What happened to him?" Sam asks, as if Dean knows what the hell is going on.
"I have no idea!"
"We need to go home," Cas groans. He clutches tightly to Dean's elbow and looks up.
He is crying. And his eyes are so full of pain that it frightens Dean.
"Yeah, yeah, OK, Cas."
