“Oh my god,” Yeonjun interrupted, exasperation mixing with something warm and unsteady, “are you actually jealous?”
Soobin went very still. The tips of his ears burned red.
“Of course not,” He stopped, exhaled, and then looked Yeonjun dead in the eye. “It’s just—” Soobin swallowed, glancing over his shoulder like he was checking that none of the engineers were paying attention. “I don’t like seeing you in his number.”
Yeonjun tried and failed to smother a laugh. “You’re ridiculous.”
Soobin stepped closer, close enough that the faint synthetic scent of his fireproofs and helmet cleaner reached Yeonjun’s nose.
“What?” He asked, oblivious.
“Take it off.”
Yeonjun gaped at him. “Excuse me?”
“Take it off,” he repeated.
Yeonjun stared at him, heat rising up the back of his neck so fast he thought he might actually pass out.
“Soobin,” His voice came out thin and incredulous. “I am not taking my shirt off in the middle of your garage.”Or, the fastest pilot in motorsport and the most gifted figure skater alive never meant to fall in love. But somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling like just friendship.

Yeonjun leaned against the barrier, blades cutting soft lines in the ice, hair damp and cheeks flushed. “You could at least pretend to look proud,” he called up, voice bright with mischief.
Soobin blinked down at him, arms crossed, trying to hide the fact that his chest felt ready to burst.
“Show-off.”
Yeonjun laughed, head tilting. “You liked it.”
“I tolerated it.”
“Liar,” Yeonjun’s grin widened. “You were the one cheering loudest.”
“I was not—”
“You yelled my name.”
Soobin’s ears went red. “That was the people behind me, hyung.”
“Mmhm,” Yeonjun tapped the ice with his blade, the sound sharp and teasing. “Come on. Get in here.”
“I’m not— Absolutely not.”
But Yeonjun was already holding out a hand, gloved and waiting. “Scared you’ll fall?”Or, Choi Yeonjun thought the hardest part was falling in love.
Turns out it’s learning how to keep it when the whole world’s still watching and hold it through the sharp edges too.Series

Summary
“What’s happening to me?” Yeonjun slurs slightly, tugging at his clothes. “It’s so hot, I feel so dizzy all of a sudden.”
The scent he is producing is suffocating Beomgyu at this point, his eyes widening as Yeonjun’s peach scent turns sweeter. “Yeonjun-hyung, I think you’re in heat,” Beomgyu says, his throat suddenly feeling scratchy.
Or, Yeonjun presents as an omega and asks Beomgyu for help during his first heat. They both find out new things about themselves during the process.
