England's heart was beating hard in his chest. He was running down the streets of the newly liberated Paris, surrounded by crowds of celebrating men and women but only looking for one. His uniform was dusty with dry mud, his eyes heavy with exhaustion, and his feet begged for rest but he could not stop. He had to find him. He had to make sure he was still there.
