He gets worked up, is what Jabber’s saying. Gets caught up in the things he likes—in the things they are, even if Zanka’s still too scared to say it yet—and forgets everything else. Like the fact that there are times where Zanka “isn’t in the mood” and “doesn’t want to fight”, when he’s “tired” and “still not healed yet” and blah blah blah blah blah.
That’s when the sappy shit comes in. And Jabber—he doesn’t hate it. He just doesn’t like it.

Summary
Relaxation is easy for some. Others, not so much. In Zanka's case, relaxation is about as foreign as the Sphere to him. He's tried everything. You see, after committing what can only be described as pure sin via a certain raider, Zanka was determined to put the memories in the past and never think of it again. To his utter horror, his past has a way of biting him in the ass when he has the least mental capacity to endure it.

“I thought you knew me, Zan-chan.” Jabber swallowed, pulling away, Adam’s Apple bobbing as he took in the taste of Zanka’s and his shared saliva. “You know I hate small-talk. So why do you keep running away from it? C’mon, Mr. Bad Attitude, just let your boy take care of you.”
Zanka glared, though it wasn’t much of anything. “. . . Shut your trap, fuckin’ shithead.”
“O-ho? This one’s got teeth.” The Raider jeered to himself, dragging a ringed-finger up and along his lover’s chest. He enjoyed the way Zanka shuddered, his body still taking in the full effect of the drug. “You don’t like how my latest poison tastes?”
Or, Jabber uses an aphrodisiac on Zanka.
