Summary
He'd aged since you'd last seen him. Fine lines now gathered at the corners of his eyes, with faint creases settling around his mouth; the kind left behind by years of expression rather than age alone.
His gaze had changed, too. Darker somehow. Sharper. The weight of experience sat behind it now, lending a depth that made it difficult to look away from.
The years had left a mark on him, but not unkindly. If anything, they suited him.
His hair darkened into a deeper shade of dirty blonde, and streaks of grey had begun to thread through the stubble along his jaw. Combined with tiredness lingering around his features, it should have made him look worn.
Instead, it only made him more compelling.
