And the other person who up until this point has been guarded and determined to not fall in love, realizes what is happening, that the hands on them have turned tender, that this isn't Fucking, it’s INTIMACY. A moment of sustained eye-contact in which the look in the I Been Knew person’s eyes is bare and obvious before they shut them again because they KNOW what they just let slip, and don’t want to press them into giving more than what was initially offered because they respect them. And the Guarded One is shook to the core and baffled because they’ve been so afraid of emotional entanglement and getting hurt, that they don’t really realise until that moment that it’s way too late and they’ve already fallen in love too?
