“Uh” it’s always the dumbest sounds that come out, Yoongi registers as his own voice breaks the silence, the silence that Seokjin is a part of, and Yoongi just sounds pitchy and strangled like a cat hissing, running from a furious dog and reaching a dead end “I’m straight”

“You were nice about it,” Jimin says. “I don’t know who else would be. I’ve never actually…told anyone else. Except Tae.” Yoongi doesn’t move. “You said yourself it’s not a big deal. You probably kiss someone new every weekend.” Jimin pauses, waits, and then very quietly: “Why not me?”
Yoongi’s shoulders lift with a sigh, his face still downturned to the breakfast bar, hidden from view. “It’s not the same,” he mumbles.

somehow, jeongguk manages to make the part of his brain not connected to his dick work enough to raise his hand, grasping onto yoongi’s a little too tightly. he swallows thickly, praying to god that his face isn’t as red as it feels when he looks yoongi in the eye again and lets out a quiet, “hi.”
(or: yoongi is a bad boy, jeongguk is a baby boy, and opposites always attract.)

“Oh, did I not tell you?” Seokjin asks, padding his way over to the sofa on the side of the room and sitting himself down. He props his feet up and leans back, giving Yoongi an innocent smile. “Jeonggukkie’s starting here this year as a freshman. He’s going into the music field too, so you might be seeing some of him around.”

It really was just a little crush in the beginning, nothing to be worried about. Louis had never really liked anyone he'd worked with in the past, but he was sure he could control himself. Little did he know that over time his 'little crush' would develop into a blazing inferno of Hell-fire proportions. Every day, Louis' feelings became more intense, more immediate, each little smile and gesture and silly flirtation mounting up into something palpable, with a life of its own. Louis felt it every moment they were together.
The only problem? Harry was engaged to someone else and had been from the moment Louis started working at Visionary.

Summary
For the rest of the movie Louis barely pays attention. He’s too focused on the words that Harry said. They keep echoing in the back of his mind: There are people who don’t experience sexual attraction. That’s Louis. That’s what he’s got to be. He wants to know more. He wants to meet people who are like him, who know what it feels like and how confused and scared it makes him.
there are two things louis is confused about. the first is his sexuality, or lack there of? he guesses. the second is why all of a sudden he has feelings for his best friend.
prompt: ACEFIC? Louis and Zayn are best friends who hang out all the time and everyone jokes about them being in love/life partners/boyfriends. They're both so hung up on the idea that dating = sex that they're oblivious to the fact that the joke isn't really a joke maybe until one of them starts going on dates with someone else? Maybe...slowly realizing that sex isn't everything, they've been more than friends for a while and figuring some things out. Non-sexual intimacy ok? Okay!

A week later, the note from Breakfast Harry is still buried in Louis' kitchen drawer under forks and spoons and spatulas, all but forgotten. Louis is in bed (because it is only 11 o'clock, after all) when he gets another call from Herb. It's probably about opening for fucking Blue again. He'll probably say yes this time. He hates turning Herb down, especially since he knows that Herb most likely begged Blue's people to consider Louis in the first place.
