Summary
In the not too distant future, the Traveler arrives in our Solar System, gifting us with the Light; a Paracausal power that makes people stronger and smarter, and terraforms other planets in our system. Centuries later, enemies arrived from outside our system, almost wiping humanity out, our civilisation collapsing, the enemies only made to flee after the Traveler sacrifices itself to repel them. In its final breath, it releases the Ghosts, small robots who use the light to search among the dead and revive them as lightbearing warriors of the Traveller, Guardians of the Last City.
Many centuries after the Collapse, a new wave of Guardians combat the forces of Darkness leftover from the Collapse, and prepare against a renewed assault on the horizon.

Summary
Sometimes, life gives you peaches, instead of lemons. Jaune Arc, out in the world for his first job straight out of culinary school, gets hired on a cruise liner to provide some good food for people that're on a long, long trip. Saphron had said that it'd be great for the Gay Love Association to have their food prepped by him, but unfortunately, he kind of got on the wrong ship. Bit of a bummer, one might think, if it hadn't also been an unfortunate happenstance that accidentally, he was the sole male on the ship, due to some unfortunate happenings with the sign. At least the women will be very friendly... because Willow Schnee's cutting him a deal he can't refuse. That's a perk of the job. Go and entertain five women out for a resort island in the tropics, and maybe get laid.
It'll be fine... right?
