Summary
Escaping Asgard and the horrors dealt there is no easy task, and doing so comes at a price. Loki falls to Earth broken and blinded, rendered helpless in a city he can neither see nor begin to understand with enemies on all sides.
Worse than that is a far greater emptiness in his veins—a missing piece of him that should have been impossible to take, yet was rent from his body anyway—and something cardice-cold lurking in the darkest corners of his mind.
The trickster doesn't break easily, though, and he's always been a survivor.

Summary
Tony Stark has been blinded thanks to an accident he can fully blame on SHIELD, and well, that's pretty much the end of his life. Or, so he thinks, until a mysterious British man starts visiting him in his hospital room. He doesn't tell him who he is, but he likes to read to Tony, and there's blueberries, and conversation, and goodbye kisses.
Of course, nothing lasts forever. Chaos has a way of dropping in unannounced.

Summary
With no memories of his parents after an accident, five year old Tony Stark is adopted by the rich owner of the Burison manor. Unfortunately, after only three years of living with him, Sir Bor Burison dies and the manor is taken over by his son Odin; who fills it with his own tastes and allows his own sons more room than the child already living there.
Tony is shoved out of the way and made to 'earn his keep' as servant to the family. But after ten years service he doesn't do it passively. One way or another, Tony is getting out of there, and his ticket out is University. MIT to be specific.
