Albus Dumbledore has need of a secretary.
Well—not really. But his colleagues at the ICW insist otherwise.
After the disaster with the Basilisk and increasing pressure from the Board of Governors, his hand is forced. And, as usual, he’s just a little late in procuring someone suitable.
So he does what any respectable wizard might do in his position: he lets his magic guide him… to something decidedly Muggle.
To his surprise, he doesn't regret it. Not after a few months. She’s dedicated, loyal, and lethally intelligent.
He only starts to regret things when those very same colleagues send her to Nurmengard—to check up on Gellert Grindelwald.
From there, things can only escalate.
