    Hayden smiled widely. “So you sneak out of the room every time we’re in Boston to not meet up with that Lily girl you’re always texting?”
    Shane’s eyes looked like they were going to pop out of his head. “What– No, I’m not–” He eventually collected himself and let out a deep breath. “How did you know about that?”
    “I mean, you’ve been texting her for years, man. I’m your best friend; I notice things.”
    “It’s… not like that. It’s just… casual.”

    Hayden was pretty sure Canada’s golden boy Shane Hollander didn’t have the capability of being casual with anyone. That would be a risk to his carefully crafted image, and there was no way Shane was some secret freak.
