She hated being vulnerable, it wasn't like her at all. Yet when she was underneath those piercing blue eyes, all she wanted was to be cracked open, to be beautifully undone by the other. It was a vicious cycle for the both of them, a game of constant wanting and needing.
Both of them were never planning on leaving anyways.

The snake has always been lonely, a creature that hunts its prey alone and would continue to lie, hurting itself in the process.
However, when a shark, a predatory animal comes to accompany the snake, the snake couldn't help but feel anxious, vulnerable, and small.
The snake is meant to be alone anyways, right?
