Dearest Fen’Harel,
I write to you with utter foolishness a young maiden of sixteen could only think of in hopes of avoiding a dreadful marriage. You are my betrothed hereon and are utterly, achingly in love with me. Ellana was desperate to avoid debuting for the season, and so has come up with the idea of deceiving her mother — claiming she had met the love of her life at Skyhold during one of her visits to her aunt. This man has ruined her but has unfortunately been called to serve under His Majesty. She began writing letters in pretense. Unknowingly, the missives have reached a very real man currently hiding under the identity of Fen'Harel.
Solas had to hide his identity and join the war from the lowest rank. Unfortunately for him, a foolish girl's letter nearly destroyed his cover.
