Surprisingly, Katie and Leanne are a rare pair in fanfiction. Seeing the obvious, tight friendship between them in the books and movies, I expected to find more written about it. However, such is not the case. Katie and Leanne appear on occasion as side pairs in other stories. Finding stories of any length dedicated to them is almost an impossibility. This story is going to repeat itself several times with you always being the main character and a different girl from the Harry Potter series playing the other part. The changes to each story will be minor...the lady and descriptors identifying each unique individual. This will give you the chance to meet and get it on with the lady(s) of your choice. If this story is well enough received, it may morph into things like a menage with the Patil twins. From there, it may further morph into G/G. This story is written from Hermione's POV. It is written in conversational English. Please accept the fact that it has an abundance of unnecessary, as Stephen King would call them, adverbs. It starts before she heads off to Hogwarts. I use ---s to create longer pauses than commas. Initially, the story will largely align with the canon. However, it will include original content and scenes. As it progresses, it will start wandering further and further away from the canon main line until it becomes an almost A/U story. The eventual ending will be well into the post-Hogwarts era.
Near the end, there will be a major twist that will bring the whole story into a different light--and set up the ultimate ending.
A note about ANGST. This story is an angst festival of sorts. The saying goes: To achieve and appreciate the highest high, you must first visit the lowest low. This story makes several dives into the depths of angsty despair. Some of the angst is purely for the characters. Some of it is to create angst for the reader. Work your way through it, and through some of the strangely explicit content. You will get your reward by the end.

The complete work is 19 chapters for the main story, 1 chapter for the index of endings, and 66 chapters of optional to read endings equaling a total of 86 chapters for the entire work.
Visit Chapter 20 whenever you wish. Look at the variety of endings. There are Harry/Luna (Haruna), Harry/Ginny (Hinny), Harry/Hermione (Harmonie), Harry/Multiple, and some that might best be cast as 'Other'.
The final chapters (87-98) are a sequel to the In Consonant Harmonie Ending where Hermione and Harry deal once and for all with time travel.
