Summary
“I can’t stand this weather,” she said with a loud sigh, making Varka chuckle. He eased himself onto the mattress next to her, wrapping an arm around her waist and nuzzling into her neck. She swatted at him playfully.
“You know,” he whispered against her neck, voice husky, “if we’re already this sweaty, I’m sure working up something extra wouldn’t make much of a difference.”

Summary
“Hiding my gifts to you? I can’t help but think you want more punishment,” he murmured, voice low. Lumine felt her insides curl at his touch and the breathiness in his voice.
“Gifts? And here I thought you were marking your territory,” she retorted, sounding far more annoyed than she felt. Lohen released her jaw and she looked up to see a pleased smile on his face. His dark eyes regarded her hungrily.
“Your words, not mine,” he said quietly, the smile unwavering.

Hesitation was pointless.
Sometimes giving in is both the easiest and best option. Especially when both parties want the same thing; each other.

Summary
“I know you want me already – so when I have you, I will make sure you are less worried about meaning and more occupied with feeling every touch and remembering every second,” he said as he trailed his hand from her chin down her neck, making her shiver. His smile widened. “What more expressions can you make, I wonder?”
Avoiding the person you hate is difficult when you don't actually hate them and especially when they don't hate you back.
