“Kiri…” You breathe his name against his ear, and that’s what makes his fingers move. You gasp lightly when his hand dips beneath your shirt, eyes shooting wide when the pad of his thick thumb strokes the length of your scar. Your automatic response is to pull away, but his hands won’t let you. He only hums against your neck, stroking his thumb harder against the soft skin of your stomach.
“One day…” Kirishima pulls back slightly, tongue swiping across his lips, “One day, I’m gonna make you love yourself. Down to every fucking scar, every imperfection that you’ve always hated.”

“Can you…” His voice sounds thin. He clears his throat and tries again. Lower, more demanding. “I think you owe me.”
You blink. “I’m sorry?” One of his hands slams past your shoulder into the wall.
“I think… you owe me.” He repeats thickly. Whatever side effect he complained about is taking a toll on his body. He’s so warm you can feel the heat radiating through his suit. You shift against the wall. You’re no fool but decide to play as one. It may be the safest option.
“I don’t have any money,” You begin to apologize. The hand on the wall tilts toward you, something sharp catches your sleeve.
“Come on, you’re smarter than that.” You want to roll your eyes but don’t dare to look away from the streaks on the mask. He’s just behind them, watching. Assessing. Waiting. “A pretty girl like you has better resources than cash.” The back of your neck prickles. Desperation still writhes on the surface of his words, but there’s more control now. He’s goading you. Trying to see if you’ll rise to the challenge, give the go-ahead.
He did save your life, after all.
