As for the princess, she's determined to find her lost big brother, so let's say she wasn't happy when three idiots stole his crown.
Said idiots stumble upon a tower hidden away only to find themselves agreeing to take the two brothers, who live in the tower, to see the lanterns.
Also, why is the big brother so hot?

With memories up to Sky bound arc (even though he is from Twins of time arc, but he doesn't remember), but no clue how he got back, Kai must walk the line between changing fate and preserving the timeline. More mature, patient, and inwardly burdened, he makes it his mission to protect his loved ones from the pain he only remembers.

Summary
The first thing Kai noticed as he stirred from his sleep(was it sleep? He didn’t remember going to bed) was that his bed was cold and kinda pokey.
The second thing he noticed were the weighted warm and cool spots on his chest.
The third thing he noticed was the faint sound of wind…. which was weird because on the Bounty it was usually a lot louder…. same at Yang’s Temple.
Blearily, he opened his eyes…. but instead of finding a ceiling he instead saw the open sky.
Wait, what?
