Only this warmth is found within the hearts of its people, in the love shared between them. It is ever present in their lives, keeping them safe from the otherwise deadly and isolating cold.
Even when this love is more akin to a dance between two souls where neither dare to touch the other lest they scald themselves. Or so Lumine’s friends would say after watching the way the youngest of the Harbingers’ trails after her in quiet awe. Someday, perhaps she’ll be convinced to turn around.

Lumine has been sent as Pantalone’s protojé representative to a week-long conference in Snezhnaya. She has been tasked to be there for PR and but also to fish out any suspicious individuals that may be plotting against the Tsaritsa. A Harbinger is her partner for this case. The 11th, Tartaglia. The two have developed an… inappropriate habit since the event started, but are confident this won’t distract them from their case.

Summary

Summary
”I need you to propose to me.”
//Miss Lumine Viatrix has vowed to never marry. Desperate to break free from the influence and reputation of her family, she rashly makes a deal with the devil (i.e. her mother): secure and reject three marriage proposals during her holiday at Battlesden, and she will be free to join her brother in Sumeru. Should she fail, she will be in her mother's hands.
When it proves more difficult than expected, she turns to Ajax, her childhood friend and the master of Battlesden, for help. He agrees, but makes it hard for either of them to come out of the arrangement unscathed.
