Summary
"Um... Are you..." Catra glanced down at the pamphlet in her hand, "number forty-seven?"
The blonde, back still turned, tilted her head slightly, gold locks shimmering in the mid-day moonlight. "Why?"
Catra shrank back, suddenly feeling shy. Which never happens. But this blonde.... All oxygen seemed to leave her lungs, and she furiously fought to her blush down. "I... I wanted to thank you for your performance. It was... unlike anything else I'd ever seen."
"Oh... thanks."
There was a long, awkward pause.
Catra bit her lip. "So, how did you... do that? All the circles? And the intricate designs?"
"Those weren't designs... they were runes."
Catra paused. "Wha--hold on, isn't that against the rules?"
"It's not my fault they chose me," the blonde snapped. "Why choose an intermediate student to perform for not only the Planet's Champion, but the rest of entire freaking universe?" Her voice grew quiet. "I... I don't know how to do most things."

Summary
"We were Shadow Weaver's wards. Growing up in the Horde as a whole is... difficult. But underneath her? It's different kind of torture. But for us, it was normal. It's normal for us to switch off the charisma and the emotion, to-turn on 'soldier-mode.' It's normal to know where weak points of the body are, the limits of pain tolerance; how to get information out of someone, and how to string them along with our games until they're drained dry without their knowledge. Why wouldn't we? We learned from the best." Adora gazed at Catra, stormy blue never breaking away from piercing gold and blue.
"We know how to hurt."

Summary
It had been six months since Horde Prime's defeat. Six months since the planet's magic was set free. Six months since the war ended.
Catra and Adora have slowly but surely started healing. But they still have their fears and doubts. And some scars can't be seen by the naked eye.
