Summary
After realizing what genya said to sanemi, he decided to track him down and apologize. Problem is, he has to become a demon slayer in order to even see him.
Basically just a fic about how he became a demon slayer, how he found out he could eat demons, and just some adjustments to the original plot.

Or: I read the Law light novel and decided I'd rather make up my own Heart Pirate origin story. Follow this poor kid as he tries to escape the horrors, battle the elements, deal with his past, deal with trauma, some very recent loss and a few complicated feelings about his old boss. Watch him try out new powers, cure incurable diseases and meet new friends! It will be sad but hopefully also fun and comforting. 100% guaranteed polar bear hugs.
Starts out fully Law-centric and slowly introduces more of Penguin and Shachi's perspectives and the world around Swallow Island as it progresses. Updates roughly once a month.

Summary
After infiltrating and busting his brother’s gang, Rosinante hoped his life would go back to normal. That hope is thrown out the window when Tsuru makes him the temporary guardian of a terminally ill orphan named Law. Before Rosinante can get his bearings though, three more boys—troublemakers Shachi and Penguin and sweet, overly apologetic Bepo—land in his care, each with a past and problems of their own.
Juggling court deadlines, medical appointments, gang threats, and unpredictable family dinners, Rosinante and the boys will learn what family and love really mean.

Summary
In another universe, another time, things go just a bit differently, and Donquixote Rosinante lives, albeit seriously injured and bedridden.
But with his son refusing to speak until he gets news of the boy he'd left behind, Sengoku is forced to locate a child who turns out to be far more trouble than he was expecting before Rosinante's reticence gets him court-martialed, or worse. Hiding a precocious child with a legendary devil fruit is hard enough. Hiding one marked for death by World Government order is another thing entirely. Doing it at Marineford itself? Summary
“Shut up,” Law says, stopping so abruptly that Drake nearly barrels into him. Considering Drake is several inches taller and wider than him, that could have been catastrophic.
“I already said I was sorry! Look, I want to be your friend, but my dad is really—”
Law claps a hand over Drake's big stupid mouth. “Listen!”
They listen. At first, they only hear general city noises, construction workers jackhammering, cars honking, children laughing, police sirens in the distance. Then, so softly that it almost gets drowned out by a nearby radio playing smooth jazz:
Drake shoves Law’s hand away. “Is that a dog?”
Or: Drake makes an apology. Law goes dumpster diving for a new pet. Rosinante suffers.

Summary
Rudo and Regto are banished to the pits when he is only ten years old after they are framed for murder. They land in a garbage field of poison air, trash beasts, and a future scraped together from whatever they can salvage.
Every item is important to Rudo. Nothing was trash to him. He'd repurpose it all if he could help it. How was he supposed to know that the items seemed to care about him, too?
Or.. Regto does everything he can for Rudo on the ground even if it means risking it all when they join the Cleaners.
