Summary
You sense movement, and then a hand wraps around your wrist, pulling you towards the wall. A quick, terrifying whirr of the sonic briefly illuminates wood paneling and, crucially, the flash of a metal doorknob, and then the light and sound both fade and the Doctor is pulling you after her into the gap of a cracked door. The Doctor pulls the door shut, adding in an almost inaudible and completely unnecessary “shh”, something you feel more than hear because you are, presently, pressed completely and totally against her. Something brushes your face, soft and curling and smelling like lavender. Her hair. You think you might pass out.
OR: tracking down anomalous energy readings, the reader and the doctor assume the stolen identities of political delegates at an intergalactic peace summit and undercover a conspiracy meant to de-rail the future. hijinks include snooping, investigating, hiding in a (literal) closest and kidnapping. also, turns out you're supposed to be a married couple. good luck!

Summary
There’s a rushing sound around you, the fierce howling of a silent, oppressive wind, and you squint your eyes against it, eyelashes brushing the Doctor’s skin. Impossibly black shadows writhe around you both, and you hold her tighter, a desperate clutch.
The twin screams reach a new pitch, something almost inaudible in their dissonance; it feels as if they’re in opposition, pulling reality apart by the seams.
And then they cut off, the shadows collapsing around you both with an inaudible sweep of pressure. Light floods back in, blinding.
I’m here, the Doctor says, clear and bright and defiant. And then she collapses.

Summary
“I can’t read it right now,” the Doctor interrupts. Yaz looks over at her; the Doctor wobbles slightly, and when she glances back, her hazel eyes are fever bright. “Words. Words are blurring,” the Doctor says lowly, gesturing with the drink again. “C’mon. I think it’s safe t’move. Slowly.”
Yaz’s alarm is growing by the moment, and it’s with extreme effort that she is able to keep her face smooth and her voice quiet as she asks, “Are you drunk?”
The Doctor turns, her burning grip still tight on Yaz’s arm as she meanders towards, yes, the doorway. “Worse,” the Doctor says, grim. “I’ve been poisoned.”

Summary
Those eyes swing to you, and suddenly the fear rushes in, bright and sharp. Because the strangeness of the glowing box materializing over your footprints is nothing compared to the strangeness emanating from the woman’s gaze. You stop breathing again, the snow falling around you unstirred. Then the woman smiles, and it’s as if time resumes.

Summary
After an adventure goes wrong and leaves you and the Doctor with injuries both mental and physical, a hold is placed on your travels. Desperate to cheer her up as the monotony sets in, you convince her to take you somewhere safe, and end up at the scenic Iludusa hot springs, where you both end up revealing more skin and feelings than you'd intended.
