Summary
He can’t help but smile at the memory. Things are messy at the moment and there’s a new danger lurking but he’s done this before. That time he had nothing but now, once he figures things out, he has friends who will help him. Wherever she is, he knows Zelda is already investigating things and trying to help wherever she can. A small piece of his mind whispers if she’s survived but he squashes it down. They’ve both faced impossible odds and survived. This voice, this hand, knows her. He knows she’s alive.
He looks down and sees a pond. He needs to focus, he needs answers, to get his body moving again, to find a way to fix the Master Sword and he needs to find Zelda.
He jumps without fear.

Follows Link as he makes his way through Hyrule after the Upheaval to help the Regions and find clues about where Zelda is.

'This has probably been one of the worst days ever for her. Not only was it her birthday but she hadn't been allowed to eat all day and was currently kneeling in below freezing water, undoubtedly begging the goddess to finally listen. They had left the other champions before sunrise to make their way up the mountain and it was getting close to sunset. They were out of time.'
In which the kingdom falls but neither Link or Zelda will give up on the other.

And no-- to her greatest surprise-- it’s not Urbosa, but rather the Appointed Knight she’d hated until just a few short months ago. Neither had realized how important they’d become to each other. But for that relationship, they were most grateful.

Her eyes are as green as Faron’s forests, and they glisten with tears.
“Do…Do you really remember me?” she asks, her voice shaking as she begs, “Please, please say that you do.”
Link stares at her, at this beautiful girl he only remembers in thirteen fragments, and shakes his head. He doesn’t remember that much about himself, but he knows that he’s not a liar. “Not all of you, Princess.”
Something in her face changes, her eyebrows on the verge of furrowing. “Princess?”
Frowning, Link nods. “Princess Zelda. I…I am getting your name right, right?”
Right? He doesn’t remember hearing it that much in his memories but it’s what Rhoam said on the Great Plateau, that his daughter is Princess Zelda and that he had to save her as soon as possible-
“Is it?” she asks. “My…My name is Princess Zelda?”
“What…” he trails off. “What do you mean? You don’t…You don’t know your own name?”
OR
Link finally saves Zelda from Calamity Ganon's clutches, desperate for her to tell him who he is. It turns out she doesn't know him, either.

There was a chance that she didn’t know. Her family had passed when she was much younger, thrusting her into the political world, so it was possible she just wasn’t used to casual conversations. Yes, Link was sure that this was the reason that Her Majesty, Queen Zelda, was currently engaged in a stare off with one of the noblemen.
Her Majesty was simply too inexperienced in these kinds of interactions. This was why she was still sitting at the table, watching Lord Rion leave as if nothing- She smirked. By the Goddesses! She knew what she was doing!
Three years after the Twilight, Link is living comfortably in his new role. He’s never really thought to question the rumors that surround the Queen. The ones that say she is expressionless, devoid of emotion, an Ice Queen. One fateful night, however, will give him a glimpse of something more from the elusive Queen Zelda, setting him off on another grand quest.
A quest to see all facets of Zelda - for perfectly rational, platonic reasons of course.
