When he offers to move her and the kids up to New York for their safety, they grow closer, and- well, it was sort of inevitable to fall in love with him, wasn't it? That's how it felt to her, anyways.

Summary
Stephen Strange was a doctor who got defenestrated and broke his hands. And he's not even joking. So when he learns that nothing will save his hands and he will never be able to operate again, he uses his stubbornness and is told about a mystical place in the Himalayas: Kamar-Taj.
Tony Stark was never Iron Man. He was never a hero, never anything except 'genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist'. Tony Stark was told that he is going to die. He doesn't want to die so, after hearing about the mysterious 'Kamar-Taj' from an employee, he decides to give it a shot.
When the two meet, they start to form a close friendship and eventually, they fall for the other. Hard. But hypothermia, ancient magical threats, their own stubbornness, childhood trauma, and society itself threaten to tear their friendship apart.
Fortunately, things happen and the universe decides that yes, they should get together in the end.
