    Summary

    This series is set in the Drama’s narrative : The untamed.
    Cangse Sanren and Wei Changze survived the night-hunt that was supposed to kill them. They did not survive this unscratched though, Cangse Sanren lost the ability to walk while Wei Changze couldn't use his sword-arm as well as before. Their injuries leave them no choice but to go back to Lotus Pier and raise their son here ; which lead them to mend their relationship with their old friend Jiang Fengmian and build a home.

    Jiang Fengmian convinces Yu Ziyuan to look for Wei Ying as soon as he hears about Wei Changze and Cangse Sanren dying.

    This changes everything--and the Jiangs are all the better for it. The Wens might have some other ideas.

    As they reached an inn and Wei Wuxian got them a room with three beds, the world seemed to have frozen for Jiang Yanli when her brother suddenly fainted and Jiang Wanyin was just fast enough to catch him before his body could hit the floor.

    "A-Xian!"

    "Wei Wuxian!"

     

    In which after the Lotus Pier Massacre: Wei Wuxian was greatly injured by Zidian, Jiang Yanli left the inn to buy the medicines and food, and Jiang Wanyin distracted the Wens.

    (With a bonus of Wei Wuxian knowing the title of the song and more things ensued inside the Xuanwu Cave that may or may have not involved Lan Wangji's forehead ribbon)

    Canon diverged from there.
