Summary
Whatever was happening inside of him wasn't normal, and it certainly wasn't safe.
Jesse wasn't avoiding his friends. He just needed to figure out what was wrong with him before they talked again.

Summary
He knew what it was. He knew who it was. He was still panting as he whirled around, making sure that sickeningly familiar door had disappeared before he could finally breathe properly. He could find another way out of here- he would find another way out of here. He would exhaust every other possibility until he took a step inside that room again. He'd never have to go inside again.
Alternative: Protag has to face more than just monsters when he searches the fourth floor.
