Lance decided to pick up his pace a bit in hopes of the other men falling behind and eventually losing him. After a bit of walking, he decided to chance a look behind him again, and noticed the others had picked up their pace as well. They were a bit closer now than before. He turned his walking speed up another notch, and took a quick left.
