Summary
For once, it seemed almost like everything was going right. The healing pillar had been fixed, everyone was safe, and the world wasn't even falling apart! On top of that, the new year was fast approaching, marking the one year anniversary of the most recent attempt at destroying the world. Now, the kids were planning a party to celebrate the fact that everyone was in fact still alive. Things couldn't have been much better.
At least that's what everyone thought. Little did they know that a series of events was about to unfold that would shake the very fabric of what they thought they knew about not only their reality, but each other too.

Macaque and Red Son cannot catch a damn break, Wukong is bad at feelings, MK is the embodiment of anxiety, Mei is protective as hell, Tang, Pigsy, PIF and DBK are all concerned, Sandy is the only sane person here, and everyone gets trauma :)

Summary
Macaque has a problem. The kind of problem that can't just be beaten up into nonexistence, easily disposed of and just as easily forgotten. The kind of problem that just doesn't disappear even if he closed his eyes really tight and convinced himself it wasn't there. And that problem was currently slurping up noodles from his bowl, sitting at his table in his kitchen, in his house. He really needs to call Chang'e, drink his worries away, and then sleep himself into a coma.

But the Demon Bull King has finally begun to show care for his family again, so, maybe, they can all make some semblance of a calm, happy domestic life together.

Summary
Macaque comes back to life over a thousand years after his death and immediately decides he wants nothing to do with Sun Wukong ever again. Unfortunately, not seeking revenge on the Great Sage makes his second life only minutely less stressful. He's incredibly weak from his impromptu resurrection, the Lady Bone Demon wants to collect his debt to her, and on top of that, Sun Wukong seems intent on hunting him down.
With practically no magic left, unwilling to go back to the Diyu, and refusing to help in destoying the world, Macaque flees. Maybe if he continues to be slippery enough, Wukong, his new stupidly optimistic successor and his friends, and the Lady Bone Demon will leave him alone.
In hindsight, it's laughable to think he could escape them.
