Jaemin looks at him from under his lashes, testing Haechan’s theory on The Weaponification of an Omega’s Pretty Face, slowly leaning down to rest his chin on his knuckles. Jeno lets go of his phone, placing it on the table face down. Hook.
“But you would do it for me right? I’ll understand if you can’t,” Jaemin juts out his bottom lip just the tiniest bit, “but I’ll feel safer if you were there.”
He notices the way Jeno’s gaze softens. Line.
“Please?” He adds softly, subtly baring his neck. He doesn’t miss the way Jeno’s eyes move to follow the movement— Motherfucking Sinker.

He kind of wants to make a joke here, to be like haha, you’re not Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way? but he’s not sure how well received that would be so he keeps it in.
“Cool,” he replies instead. “Cool, yeah, that’s great, cool, thanks!” Donghyuck has never sounded more stupid in his life before, he’s sure. He takes a step back, ready to run back to his room and sit his ass back at his desk and pretend this interaction never happened. “See you around, then!” Jaemin’s smile doesn’t go away. He gives Hyuck a lazy nod back, leaning a shoulder against the doorway as Huyck makes his quick escape back to the confines of his room, where there are no weird, sexy emos (emo? Goth? Depressed person?) to make him nervous.
