Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

He seemed so sincere, Shoko was almost inclined to believe him. “And?” Geto wasn’t a much better option, all things considered. He was just the evil she knew.
The flat look he threw her screamed Geto Suguru in every single way she knew, and she saw the concession before he gave it to her. “It’s not me that needs help,” he said, catching her off guard. And then: “It’s Satoru.”

Summary
The website Satoru showed Suguru looked like it was made in the early 2000’s and swiftly abandoned right after its birth. All simple fonts and dark colors, cheesy repeating gifs of ghosts for icons and page borders. The custom crystal ball cursor really made Suguru question the validity of the website as a whole. The thing Satoru seemed the most interested in was a specific thread that had been locked for six years, posted several years before being locked, and had pages worth of replies.
"Where is Ryomen Sukuna’s shrine actually located? Anyone know?"
Or
Satoru and Suguru are amateur ghost hunters, and go on an investigation that leaves them in way over their heads.

Up close, the strangers looked even more miserable and cold. And rich. Suguru recognized the fine quality of their clothes, the way they looked down on everyone around them, even Yaga-sensei.
Their teacher’s face was tight, guilt lining his pursed lips and furrowed brow. Even Suguru, who was thoroughly out of the loop, could read the message in the man’s eyes as he turned to Satoru: I’m sorry. I tried to get them to leave.
Satoru huffed out a breath and took a step ahead of Suguru, his back still ramrod-straight.
“Hello, mother. Father.”
Fuck.
Satoru's parents make a surprise visit to Jujutsu Technical School. It doesn't go well.
