Summary
Unable to afford suppresants, Xie Lian succumbs to his first ever heat during his first banishment. He has to endure the suffering of being pregnant and losing his child, of fighting his way through the massacre of the Mount Tonglu’s challenge, of catching a glimpse of the ghost only to lose him again. They reunite eventually, but Wu Ming has lost his memories! He thinks Xie Lian is his mate and behaves accordingly. Fighting desire and guilt, Xie Lian can only stay by his side and pray he doesn’t fall for the ghost even further…
This was meant to be a smutty one-shot but it grew legs… Some very long legs I fear. So, you can click chapter one for some messy Wulian, stay for the angst that comes after that, and then maybe stay even longer for tons of toothrotting fluff and record-breaking amounts of gay panic (and more angst, ofc; but there will be a lot of comfort too, I promise).
