Summary
"They left trails, they spoke too much, they made stupid mistakes when they thought they’d be discovered. That could never happen to Hubert, of course, because Hubert acted from a place of devotion."
Or,

Summary
"The confidence in his eye, the honesty of his smile, the fact that he dared disturb Hubert’s brooding made him instantly dislike him, as epidermic a reaction as the sting of nettles."
Hubert is stuck in the countryside between a lovestruck Edelgard, an aching heart and an annoying redhead. Relationships tangle around him, tying him down, choking him.
This is very much a Ferdibert fic. Enjoy!
