Summary
There were worse things, Quackity supposes, than losing your last canon life. Technoblade may have been one of his greatest enemies, but Quackity could extend him the courtesy of saying the man had, at the very least, been mercifully cruel in his final moments, granting him enough physical pain to forget the rest of the gaping wounds bleeding out his heart and mind. Unknowingly he'd given Quackity back his agency, no longer Schlatt's abused husband or Karl and Sapnap's forgotten fiance or Dream's sadistic captor or even Eret's promise for another lifetime. He was Quackity, just Quackity, and that was okay for once.
So he was happy in that state of nothingness-
-until he wasn't.
And those eyes, those fucking brown eyes that had forgotten and abandoned him for another kingdom, a better life, were staring at him again with a certain blond at his side. Dream's right hand was holding the book Quackity had died in hopes of seeing and which was now withering into ashes in the palm of his hand, leaving Quackity the only proof left to attest to its existence.
"It worked!" Karl announced, voice high with glee and hysteria. "The revival book worked!"

Summary
'I never took you for a romantic, sister.' Masa spoke softly. A smile was settled on the god's face as he sat beside his counterpart, Hado keeping her gaze on the world that breathed below them. 'Though I do not think I will ever understand why you made them finding one another so simple. Gifting them the ability to love was interesting enough, to give them the gift of colours along with it was excess generosity.'
Hado's eyes finally settled on a boy that stood on the bridge, the rain beating down on him as he drew closer and closer to the edge. She could momentarily reach out and sense his heartbreak, his pain, his utter hopelessness and desire to die. A glitch in the world, a permanent spot of gray in a sea of colour. Her perfect creation.
'I disagree.' she finally replied, moving her gaze towards the god. Their violet eyes met and a wide smile dawned on the goddess' face. 'I do not think I could have been any more cruel.'
