She's not big on drama. Never has been, never will be. She's got too much shit going on in her own life (too many nightmares) that she doesn't see the point in getting drug into pointless high school bullshit. Half of the team will be out of Wiskayok by September, and the half that stays won't spare a second glance at Natalie Scatorccio the second that Nationals is over.
Her life has never been all that fucking perfect though, has it?

You were supposed to spend senior year arguing about shutter speeds, not starvation. Leader of the photography club, resident behind-the-lens lurker, you took all the Yellowjackets’ glossy pre-crash photos. Perfect lighting, perfect hair, perfect futures. Cute, right?
Now the only subjects you shoot are frostbite and fear. Jackie keeps drifting closer than she should in the dark, Natalie keeps looking at you like she knows you think too much, and you keep pretending the cabin walls are not breathing when the candles burn low.
It is amazing what the wilderness develops when there is no escape, no sleep, and too many secrets to fit in one frame.
Smile for the camera. The Wilderness is watching.
